Surfers Paradise parks & beaches
With Mantra Circle on Cavill’s proximity to numerous parks and famous Gold Coast beaches there is always the perfect place for a relaxed picnic, refreshing swim or laze in the sun.
Just across the road from your Mantra Circle on Cavill apartment you will find a park overlooking the Nerang River. This park is frequented by tour boats taking people onto the Gold Coast waterways for the day or venturing out into open waters in winter/spring for the annual whale migration. It is also the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun's warm rays.
On the opposite side of Cavill Avenue, adjacent to Melbas on the Park is Cavill Park. Home to a small Anzac Memorial and the Surfers Paradise RSL, you can often see international backpackers practicing up on their flair bartending skills. They're always super friendly and don't mind onlookers.
On the other side of Surfers Paradise is Eileen Peters Park running parallel with the famous Surfers Paradise beach. This stretch of park is a hive of activity all year round and every Sunday you will witness hundreds of locals making their way up and down The Esplanade on their leisurely Sunday walk.
The most famous natural attraction that typifies Surfers Paradise is Surfer Paradise Beach, only a short 500 metres walk from Mantra Circle on Cavill. Simply follow Cavill Avenue until you reach The Esplanade and you will be standing on the sandy stairs leading to this famous attraction.
Surfers Paradise beach is the Gold Coast's busiest patrolled beach with well over 100 people swimming and frolicking in the sun daily. This beach is patrolled all year round by professional lifeguards and for extended hours during the summer months. Ensure you swim between the flags when swimming at all times as there can be a strong undertow.
For a quieter beach encounter, just a few hundred metres south you will find Northcliffe Beach and to the north is Narrowneck Beach and Main Beach.
